Zellis lauded CIPP’s Payroll Software Product of the Year

14 October 2021, LONDON – Zellis, the leading provider of payroll and HR software, and managed services in the UK and Ireland, has won two prestigious awards at the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals’ (CIPP) Annual Excellence Awards 2021, reflecting the strength of both its technology and expertise. 

The company’s best-of-breed payroll software, part of their flagship Human Capital Management suite, Zellis HCM Cloud, was judged by an independent panel of payroll experts including representatives from HMRC, Virgin Media, and the Direct Line Group. 

Launched in March 2021, Zellis HCM Cloud is the next evolution of Zellis’ award-winning payroll and HR system, ResourceLink, designed for the needs of mid-market and enterprise organisations in any industry in the UK or Republic of Ireland. The solution is designed with automation and analytics at its core to make organisations more engaged, empowered, and efficient. 

The judges were specifically impressed with Zellis’ “clear focus on innovation and commitment to future development” and added to their comments, “the product looks to transform businesses with the current application as well as looking forward with new innovation.” 

They also commended the customer support provided through testing and upgrades, with users receiving a major release every six months, and smaller, legislative updates when necessary. 

Mandy Haslam, Payroll Advisory & Operational Enablement Director at Zellis, also took home the CIPP Spotlight Award for her extensive experience and achievements. The judges specifically highlighted how Mandy has supported business growth and increased service offerings, created quality metrics to ensure a project go-live is not the end of the process, and improved overall service delivery.
