BRISTOL, UK – 24 April, 2026: The Enquire Learning Trust has selected Zellis as its new HR and payroll partner, strengthening the Trust’s ability to support more than 32 primary schools across the North of England.
The multi-academy trust, which is driven by a mission to provide high‑quality, inclusive education and to ensure every child becomes a confident, successful learner, was seeking a technology partner that could reduce administrative pressure and free up staff capacity to focus on teaching and pupil outcomes.
Aligned with its ethos of collaboration, continuous improvement and “botheredness” – the Trust’s commitment to going the extra mile for pupils, colleagues and communities – Enquire Learning Trust identified Zellis as the provider best placed to deliver modernisation at scale. The Trust places children at the centre of everything it does, fostering a culture of curiosity, innovation, and professional growth across its academies.
Zellis will equip the Trust with a combination of always‑on pay, anomaly detection and real‑time workforce insights. These capabilities are designed to reduce the risk of payroll errors, streamline core processes, and empower staff with better self‑service tools. This approach supports the Trust’s wider goal of ensuring that systems and processes contribute directly to improving experiences across its academies.
Leah Collins, Director of People at Enquire Learning Trust, said the decision to choose Zellis was shaped by the platform’s breadth of functionality and potential to deliver tangible gains for central and school‑based teams.
“Regarding our choice to proceed with Zellis, we just felt it covered all our needs in a much more comprehensive way than the other systems we saw. We also felt that it would lead to the most gains for the team, especially with regards to the self‑service sections and AI elements that have been incorporated. We’re anticipating this will have a positive impact on the central team by reducing workload, queries and duplication.”
