The challenge
Securitas Direct offers its employees a comprehensive benefits package, including financial, healthcare, development programs and other perks.
However, they recognised the need for more immediate financial support options for their workforce. The company decided to implement an EWA service, but their initial provider fell short of expectations. Before starting to work with Zellis, how did you manage the payroll advance processes for your employees?
Initially, Securitas Direct managed payroll advance requests manually through our internal portal. Each request was individually evaluated by a personnel manager, and then the transfer was processed manually. This process was cumbersome, causing payment delays, and the solution was not optimal for the employee.
A couple of years ago, we implemented a service through an app to manage payroll advances instantly. However, for various reasons, we decided to change providers, and for the past few months, we have been happy with Zellis FWB.

The primary driver for adopting Zellis FWB was to provide employees with access to earned wages at any time, promoting financial stability among the workforce. The decision was further influenced by the company’s goal to maximise employee satisfaction.

Key factors in selecting Zellis included the ease of implementation, adaptability to our needs and overall effectiveness in improving the financial wellbeing of our employees. How was the migration from the previous provider?
The implementation of Zellis FWB was very smooth and efficient. Zellis’ team adapted their solution to fit seamlessly with our existing systems and non-standard model. In our case, we decided to move from another provider, and Zellis ensured the transition without any interruption in service, so the employees did not notice the change. For me, that was a great success.
How is Zellis FWB solving the problems you had?
Zellis FWB fits perfectly with our needs, providing a flexible and efficient solution. We have saved many hours of review, and the current process is very agile and, above all, gives us a lot of peace of mind.
Have you noticed any impact on employee satisfaction levels since you started using Zellis FWB?
The employees are very happy with the solution, and this is what is important to us. From the first day of each month, they have access to the fixed salary accrued to that date plus the variable pay from the previous month.
