Not only do Scoffs’ Costa coffee shops serve over 26,000 customers daily across the South East and South West regions, but they are also a growth partner for the blue-chip brands of Itsu and Burger King UK – a true powerhouse in the hospitality sector! 

Scoffs were looking for a HR & WFM system that would allow them to centralise all their processes in one simple place. It was also important that they could empower their employees with a mobile-friendly application, allowing staff to view and manage their entire world of work (from rotas to timecards to HR documents and lots more) from any location or device, reducing the administrative burden and giving employees more flexibility. 

Following thorough research and evaluation, Scoff’s Group chose Zellis as their all-in-one HR & WFM software

Challenge

Scoffs Group needed a scalable solution to align with their growth objectives whilst supporting commitment to excellence in customer service. Outgrowing their existing systems, it was important to ensure they had a new HRIS that would be future-proof. 

They also needed an end-to-end solution that could help reduce costs, as well as increase self-service capabilities to empower managers and employees, all while always ensuring maximised payroll accuracy. 

Solution

Scoffs now have a system that supports growth and expansion, and the team continue to work in partnership with Zellis to support increasing numbers of brands, staff, sites, and requirements.

A key benefit is maximised operational efficiency with enhanced workforce management capabilities. For instance, employees now have the independence to pick up and exchange shifts seamlessly across multiple sites, and even validate hours before the pay run.

Implementation

There was a rapid implementation process of just 3.5 months, a testament to the hard work of the project teams at both Zellis and Scoffs Group.

Today, Scoffs Group have a people system with over 1,000 current active users and, since implementation, have had a total of over 690,000 logins into the system!
