London, UK – 20 November 2023: Zellis – the UK and Ireland’s largest provider of payroll and HR software, has taken home the coveted title of ‘Best Payroll and HR Software Product’ at The Rewards 2023.

The Rewards is judged by an independent panel of experts and is one of the payroll and HR industry’s most prestigious award programmes. The ceremony was hosted at the Hilton London Watford and was attended by hundreds of payroll and HR professionals.

Zellis’ winning category was judged against three key criteria: innovation, customer cost-savings, and customer satisfaction – all of which were strongly evidenced in the company’s entry. Citing the reasons for choosing Zellis as this year’s winner, the judging panel said:

[We] were impressed by the comprehensive range of topics covered by Zellis in this category, and in particular the launch of MyView PayNow. Its integration of payroll and financial wellbeing solutions aligns perfectly with current concerns about the cost of living. An ability to slash processing times, alongside a commitment to enhancing financial wellbeing and reducing financial stress, earned Zellis the top spot for this award.”

The company’s latest award win comes on the back of a notable period of industry recognition in which Zellis has been shortlisted for Product of the Year (HCM Cloud) and Provider of the Year (Zellis Managed Services) at the CIPP Annual Excellence Awards, as well as Payroll Software Supplier of the Year at the Global Payroll Awards 2023.

Commenting on the win at The Rewards 2023, Zellis Chief Product Officer George Dunnett (pictured above, second from left), said:

I was very excited to collect this accolade at The Rewards. It follows a successful awards season in which Zellis HCM Cloud has received multiple nominations for its market-leading payroll and HR software. These are testament to both the talent and hard work of our team as well as our brilliant customers who understand the value of using the very best technology to optimise their payroll and HR operations.”

Dunnett concluded:

Employees and organisations are still navigating challenging times and as a company that serves five million employees across the UK and Ireland every month, we’re committed to helping our customers create the exceptional employee experiences that drive tangible efficiencies. That’s why Zellis exists, and we’re delighted to see our efforts recognised on an industry stage.”

Zellis’ leadership team has also received accolades in recent months. The company’s Chief Operating Officer, Abigail Vaughan, was named ‘Business Leader of the Year – HR’ at The Rewards Leadership Awards in June, while Director of Software Development, Martin Mann, won ‘Business Leader of the Year – Software’.
