20 October 2020, LONDON – Zellis, the market leader in enterprise payroll and HR solutions for the UK and Ireland, has won the coveted Payroll Software Product of the Year award at the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals’ (CIPP) Annual Excellence Awards 2020.
Zellis’ flagship software, ResourceLink, which is currently used to pay over five million employees each month, was judged by the independent panel of experts as the most compliant, user-friendly, and well-supported payroll solution for UK organisations.
The judges were particularly impressed by Zellis HCM Cloud, which was launched in September 2020, and incorporates ResourceLink’s payroll and HR functionality. Deployed in the Microsoft Azure public cloud, Zellis HCM Cloud provides on-demand access to a suite of best-of-breed payroll, HR, benefits, and recognition tools, while also functioning as an open platform that allows customers to integrate easily with third-party productivity tools, as well as Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform.
At the foundation of Zellis HCM Cloud is the Zellis Intelligence Platform, which enables users to integrate data from across products and harness the most powerful payroll and HR analytics tools in the market, leading to smarter decision making.
Zellis HCM Cloud delivers “features that are very exciting and will hugely aid employees and managers to save time on lots of the admin tasks associated with HR and payroll self-service transactions. The MyView app looks fabulous and the big plus is the ability to complete tasks and approvals directly from your email account – leading edge technology,” said another judge.
Special recognition was also paid to Zellis’ commitment to providing specialised payroll functionality for the end-to-end payroll process as standard. This includes being the only software provider in the market to build new product functionality to make processing emergency COVID-19 measures, such as the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme, easier for customers. As one judge remarked, ResourceLink is “a very comprehensive solution that provides everything you need.”
Marko Perisic, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Zellis, commented: “We are committed to developing engaging, beautifully designed, and data-powered experiences that make people feel appreciated for the work they do. Zellis HCM Cloud builds on ResourceLink’s rich heritage with leading edge automation, analytics, and integration capabilities, giving customers what we believe to be a complete human capital management solution. The road ahead is very exciting indeed – there is lots more still to come. I’m extremely proud of my team and colleagues for all of their work.”
John Petter, Chief Executive Officer at Zellis, added: “We are not only delighted to receive this recognition, but also to hear that three Zellis customers won awards last week. Nothing excites us more than our customers succeeding! It demonstrates just how important it is to take a partnership approach with our customers, working closely with them to address their specific challenges and deliver measurable value to their organisations. Special kudos to all of the payroll and HR teams that have been extremely resilient and hard-working during the pandemic crisis.”
Moorepay, part of the Zellis Group, was also nominated for awards at the event.
