The theme for this year’s International Women’s Day (IWD) is #EmbraceEquity. How is Zellis Group working to advance gender equity for colleagues, customers, and communities?
At Zellis Group we work hard to create an inclusive, engaging, values-driven culture that people want to join and are proud to be part of. Key to this is our commitment to becoming a diverse and inclusive workforce that’s fully representative of our customers and the communities we operate in.
ESG framework and 2027 goals
Our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) framework brings together our programmes of work and ambitions, and tracks progress across the group.
At Zellis Group, it’s our responsibility to make a positive difference to our colleagues, customers, and the communities we operate in, across three key areas of influence:
- Wellbeing for all
- Diversity of thought and experiences
- Strong communities
By 2027, our goal is to be:
- Supporting 5 million people with financial, mental, and physical wellbeing
- 50% women-led and helping 50% of our customers reach their diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) goals
- Operationally net carbon zero, minimising emissions to fight climate change
- B Corp-certified, demonstrating positive social and environmental impact

Our commitment to women’s representation and leadership
This International Women’s Day, we’re focusing in on our diversity of thought and experiences goal, and what that means for gender.
We’re committed to promoting representation through the development of colleague-led networks to foster connection, promote awareness, and celebrate diversity.
Our women’s networks Count Me In and SheTech are aimed at enabling women of all backgrounds to achieve personal and professional development.
Through our platforms and services, we already support our customers to report, measure, and monitor their gender pay gap.
We’re rolling out more technology to enhance that support. This will help our customers to better understand their workforce and track their progress in diversity and inclusion.
Women in Tech recently recognised us as a top 10 employer for women in the traditionally male-dominated field of technology.
We are now pushing ahead towards a clear goal of achieving 50% women in leadership by 2027.
About International Women’s Day
International Women’s Day (IWD) has been marked for over a century, with the first gathering taking place in 1911. This year’s theme is #EmbraceEquity.
Imagine a gender-equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. A world that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated. Together we can forge women’s equality. Collectively we can all #EmbraceEquity.
