We pride ourselves on having an active and engaged community of HR and payroll customers. A key date for our community is our annual conference, Zellis Connect, which this year takes place on 26 and 27 November at the fantastic International Conference Centre (ICC) in Birmingham.
There’s still plenty of time to register for this year’s event. Here are five reasons to attend.
1. Hear about industry hot topics from thought leaders
We’ve compiled a superb speaker agenda geared around this year’s key theme: ‘The future of work: creating a reward experience for your employees’.
Day one is opened by Kevin Green, TEDx speaker and HR expert, who will be discussing talent strategies in times of skills shortages, followed by Ed Houghton, head of research and thought leadership at CIPD, who will explore the future of technology in HR.
Day two will see Dr. Andrew McFaull of King’s College London talk about the importance of financial wellbeing for employees, while Sam Hepher, programme manager at the Living Wage Foundation will explain why the real living wage is essential for future HR and payroll strategies. We’ll also have a session on demonstrating the value of ‘total rewards’ delivered by Matt Russell, chief sales officer at Benefex.
These sessions represent a great opportunity to reflect on your current reward strategy and make sure you stay ahead of future trends.
2. Learn about the latest developments in technology
Throughout the conference, you’ll have a chance to take a closer look at the latest developments in payroll and HR technology, including within our award-winning software, ResourceLink.
You won’t want to miss the ‘Zellis roadmap: the future of the reward experience’ session, delivered by our CTO, Marko Perisic and our development director, Martin Mann. This session will look at the direction of the pay and reward industry, providing key details on the technology changes we’re working on to ensure the most advanced and user-friendly experience for our customers.
Other technology sessions include digital best practices for payroll operations, using a SaaS set-up to accelerate your payroll and HR, how to set yourself up for ResourceLink success, and much more.
3. Get up to speed with important legislation
With new payroll legislation coming into force regularly, keeping up to date is a challenge. At Zellis Connect you’ll have the chance to attend a session dedicated to the latest legislative changes you need to know about, delivered by Helen Hargreaves, associate director of policy at the CIPP, and Jaspal Randhawa-Wayte, director of product management, payroll solutions at Zellis.
We will also showcase the new National Minimum Wage/National Living Wage monitoring functionality in ResourceLink which helps our customers stay compliant.
4. Network with like-minded colleagues
Our conference is a great opportunity to network with peers. You’ll have regular breaks to make new connections, share learnings and visit our exhibitor area.
We’ll be showcasing some of our services, such as Benefex, compensation planning and background checking, as well as from external organisations such as the CIPP and CIPD.
5. Celebrate success at our annual awards dinner
We’ve created the Zellis Connect Awards to celebrate excellence amongst our ever-growing payroll and HR community. Judged by an expert panel, there are seven great awards up for grabs, including best use of technology, best implementation project, and the payroll achievement award.
If you’re a current ResourceLink customer you can enter as many of the categories as you like, free of charge.
